You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.What youll do:Lead and manage the onsite Sodexo catering team, ensuring top-quality food and service.Prepare and cook meals to the agreed standards and ensure efficient kitchen operations.Oversee menu planning, stock management, and cost control to meet budget requirements.Maintain high standards of food hygiene, adhering to the Food Safety Act and company policies.Monitor and manage kitchen safety, reporting any issues and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Provide leadership, training, and development to kitchen staff to ensure operational excellence.Act as the focal point for health, safety, and environmental compliance, fostering a strong safety culture.Ensure effective ordering and stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain food safety.What you bring:City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 or NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation.Minimum two years of experience in catering management or a similar role.Strong leadership skills with experience managing resources (people, finance, stock).Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate and ISOH Safety Certificate (desirable).Proven ability to manage a high-volume kitchen while maintaining exceptional standards.A passion for delivering great food and service while leading a team to success.What We OfferWorking with Sodexo is more than a job; its a chance to be part of something greater.Youll belong to a company and team that values you for who you are, where you can act with purpose and make an impact.
