  • Technical Expertise: Develop and apply your technical expertise in Civil & Structural engineering, making independent decisions and providing expert support to the project delivery team.
  • Structured Workflow: Play a crucial role in the lifecycle of projects, from design to handover and closeout, ensuring meticulous planning and execution.

Key Considerations for Your Career Path:

  • Experience Requirements: A minimum of 5 years in Civil & Structural engineering, with at least 2 years in a hazardous industry (petrochemical, oil and gas, or nuclear), is essential. This ensures you are well-equipped for the complexities of the role.
  • Educational Background: A relevant MSc/Degree/HND/C in the discipline or a related field is required.
  • Professional Accreditation: While preferred, CEng or IEng (Chartered/Incorporated) status can significantly enhance your career trajectory and is a valuable asset.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: The ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships is paramount for seamless project execution and stakeholder alignment.
  • Proactive Risk Management: A self-motivated approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues is crucial for maintaining project timelines and safety standards.
  • Client-Focused Delivery: The role demands a dedication to meeting client deadlines and ensuring the highest standards of handover documentation, highlighting the importance of meticulous attention to detail.
