This role plays a vital part in ensuring high standards of cleanliness across a variety of spaces, including communal areas, office environments, tea rooms, and hygiene-critical areas such as bathrooms and showers.As Cleaning Manager,you will oversee daily operations, manage resources effectively, and drivecontinuous improvement across the cleaning service. You will also engage withteams working outside core hours to maintain service consistency throughout thesite.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership:Manage and support a team of 16 cleaners, ensuring effective scheduling, training, and performance management.Operational Oversight:Ensure delivery of cleaning services meets contractual standards and complies with relevant legislation and site-specific requirements.Budget & Resource Management:Control labour and materials budgets, implement cost-effective practices, and drive efficiency through the use of technology and innovation.Health, Safety & Compliance:Uphold and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring a culture of safety across the team.Client Relations & Reporting:Conduct quality assurance audits, maintain service records, and prepare reports to ensure client satisfaction and compliance with agreed standards.Staff Development:Lead recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of cleaning staff, with a focus on compliance, engagement, and professional growth.About YouWere looking forsomeone with strong experience in cleaning management or a cleaning supervisorwhos ready to take the next step in their career.Youll need:Proven experience managing or supervising cleaning teamsExcellent understanding of cleaning standards and service delivery in large-scale environmentsStrong leadership and organisational skillsGood working knowledge of health and safety regulationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCompetency with standard IT systemsRelevant qualifications are desirable (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely, BICSc Assessor, BIFM, or apprenticeship experience)Why Join Us?At Sodexo, webelieve that great service starts with great people.
