We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Cleaning Supervisor at Greenwich Campus to lead and support a team in delivering a high-quality, responsive cleaning service that meets contract requirements, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of the building areas covered by the cleaning team, including a clear understanding of required standards and completion timeframes.What youll do:Supporting the Cleaning Manager with work allocation for the cleaning team including reactive and planned cleaning allocated by the Helpdesk team; keeping within the specified detail of the contract, the financial budget and working principles.In conjunction with the Manager, plan staff rotas and manage staff hours worked, sickness and annual leave, to ensure staff are paid correctly.Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance and general cleanliness to comply with statutory and Company regulations, wearing company uniform and PPE as specified and ensuring Cleaning Operatives do the same. Report as necessary any uniform requests / PPE requirements to the Residence Manager.To support the Cleaning Manager in ensuring Sodexo safety initiatives are rolled out and implementedTo Control and count stock, order (as/if required) and issue cleaning materials ensuring stock rotation and safety in storage.What you bring:Previous cleaning experience essential, supervisory experience desirableTo display good interpersonal skills towards our customers, Clients, team members and fellow Sodexo colleaguesAbility to communicate verbally and in writing in English.Ability to carry out the role following trainingConfidence to work on ones own, following trainingAbility to work as a team player and to be flexible as job tasks dictateA willingness to receive, understand and implement training givenClean and tidy appearance with a strong emphasis on personal hygienePrevious cleaning experience preferredWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; its a chance to be part of something greater.
