POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an energetic and ambitious Senior Account Manager or Account Director, keen to join our fast-paced, fun, and evolving packaging and brand experience agency in a 12-month fixed term contract role as maternity cover on one of our largest accounts.

Scope of role:

Office-based 2 days a week, WFH 3 days. May need to visit agency or client offices as required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position will be involved in all aspects of delivering design and branding projects for clients, including receiving client briefs, planning projects and working closely with the SGK creative teams to produce and present creative work. Additionally, the role is also charged with developing commercial relationships to ensure sustained, long-term growth. The role will be supported by the Business Director to drive client growth and strategic account planning, and this role is expected to be the first point of contact and main relationship holder for a number of brand managers.

Through this they will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting creative projects on a brand that is known and loved by thousands of consumers globally. While helping to shape this brand with the client, they will build direct relationships with our regional offices and the brand’s roster of agency partners.

Key tasks overview

Taking day-to-day ownership of client accounts and acting as a partner to deliver creative solutions for clients Receiving and responding to client briefs, writing internal creative briefs, timing plans and other related client service responsibilities (meeting contact reports, status reports etc.) Tracking and communicating status on client projects, including reporting up to the client services team on all current workstreams and future projects Manage processes with the creative studio, scheduling resource to maximise operational efficiencies without compromising quality Engage with different stakeholders as needed and operate client approval systems as needed for project delivery Take responsibility for aspects of client finance, including invoicing and budget tracking
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

We’re looking for an energetic and responsible person with recognised experience in an established brand and packaging design agency, but with an ability to apply their skills and knowledge into Point of Sale and Digital channels as well. They should be organised and adaptable, with great communication skills and a willingness to get stuck in and take action.

Great listening and communication skills to understand complex tasks and engage with a variety of stakeholders to achieve a goal Professional, positive and proactive attitude with desire to take ownership and move things forward Personable, with the ability to develop personal relationships and build trust with clients Keen to build category knowledge and act as consultant to support with briefings/feedback where necessary Ability to adapt to requirement and multitask in a calm and logical manner Comfortable working within a process framework Ability to work in a team, to delegate or escalate as required

Ideal experience

Vast account management experience with a packaging design agency on prominent FMCG brands Some experience of campaign, activations and/or digital asset creation Collaborating with other agencies as part of a cross-agency account Partnering with artwork and repro teams in a joined-up manner for a seamless service Experience in managing projects, timelines & budgets Experience in dealing with multiple SKU projects from start to finish essential
