Are you ready to make an impact in a dynamic role within the Estates team?We're looking for a proactive Commercial Coordinator to join us at Manchester University Foundation Trust to support the Commercial Management of all contractual obligations and lead on quality assurance for the team.In this role, you will be a confident, organised team player who will help drive improvements in company procedures, policies, and standards whilst ensuring compliance services are exceptional.You'll also support our Supply Chain Management processes, ensuring the delivery of a robust performance-measured service model.Working closely with the Commercial Manager, youll manage risk registers, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure risks are effectively controlled. You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.What youll doCollaborate with the Commercial Manager on the Oxford Road Campus site.Manage Commercial processes related to the co-operation agreement and Defect notifications to the Lifecycle Services Provider.Handle Schedule 35 notifications and prepare/update the monthly expenditure report.Support the Special Projects Manager with Living Zone Lifecycle Funding requests.Assist with the preparation and submission of Living Zone Lifecycle Drawdown requests.Provide support to the UK Commercial Manager and develop commercial awareness through mentoring.Identify and eliminate unnecessary costs and inefficiencies.Build relationships with on-site Operational, Finance, and Compliance teams.Work with Operational Leads to support maintenance activities and mitigate Unavailability risks via Scenario 2 & 3 defect step-ins.What youll bringEssentialStrong experience in external and internal Stakeholder engagement / managementAble to commit to 9am - 5pm onsiteStrong stakeholder skillsUnderstanding of Health and Safety at Work regulationsExcellent report writing skillsBe flexible to meet the demands of a large PFI Acute Healthcare EstateSelf-motivated and able to adapt to changing priorities.Strong mathematical skillsAble to stay focused with an aptitude for problem solving under pressureWillingness to develop understanding of the Project Agreement and respective Schedules, Hard FM Contract, Co-operation Agreement, Lifecycle Services Provider Contract and Soft FM Contract.Desirableknowledge of automated CAFM digital systems.What we offer£31,000 per year + Sodexo benefits.Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.You'll belong in a company and team that values you for you; you'll act with purpose and have an impact through your everyday actions; and you'll be able to thrive in your own way.
