Job Description: Job Title Conference & Events Specialist Location London Corporate Title Assistant Vice President Based in the London office, this role plays a key part in shaping and executing the businesses global event strategy. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering in-person, virtual, and hybrid events across European Markets, predominantly for the Investment Banking division. The role demands strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across business divisions to ensure alignment with strategic goals and brand standards. We have implemented a model that enables eligible employees to work remotely for a part of their working time and reach a working pattern that works for them Competitive salary and non-contributory pension 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days Life Assurance and Private Healthcare for you and your family A range of flexible benefits including Retail Discounts, a Bike4Work scheme and Gym benefits The opportunity to support a wide ranging CSR programme + 2 days’ volunteering leave per year Your key responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute in-person, virtual, and hybrid events with a focus on the business strategic partnerships Collaboration with other bank divisions and stakeholders to define event goals and support the seamless execution of events Partner with external vendors and internal teams to coordinate all aspects of global event planning including partners, venues and in house events team in other divisions and agencies Requirement to liaise with senior management and offices to ensure smooth coordination of client invitation process Manage event budgets, track spend against purchase orders, reconcile costs, and drive cost-efficiencies where possible Oversee the client journey, optimising the delegate management system and enhancing digital tools. Deliver event registration and attendance reports, providing strategically thought through, accurate and valuable business focused data insights Your skills and experience Proven experience in the financial sector (but not essential) Able to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
