We are seeking an organised, detail-focused, and proactive individual to join our Operations team as Control Support Manager, based at the East Midlands Control Centre (EMCC) in Derby.

About the role:
In this pivotal role, you will act as the dedicated reporting and administrative lead for EMR Control, creating additional capacity and resilience across the team. You will work at the heart of operational delivery, supporting both Customer Information and Operations Delivery functions.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing all rostering activity for the EMR Control teamConducting audits and ensuring compliance with policies such as fitness for dutyProducing weekly KPI data and management reportsLogging and investigating non-safety critical close calls and delaysSupporting the Control team during operational disruption, including event logging and mobilisation processesMaintaining and updating SharePoint and team communicationsCoordinating with key stakeholders on training, assurance checks, and project progressAbout you:
You will bring excellent communication and organisational skills, with proven experience in a fast-paced environment such as a control room or operations hub. Strong IT literacy is essential, including proficiency in Word, Excel and ideally PowerBI and railway systems such as COMPASS, CCIL, and TRUST.
We're looking for someone who can stay calm under pressure, analyse complex data sets, and support critical decision-making. A background in stakeholder engagement, compliance auditing, or process improvement will be highly advantageous.
