AsCorporateTax Specialist - Reporting Development, you willbe part of teamresponsible forknowledge acquisition, design,implementationand management ofcorporate tax reporting and tax accounting development across the Groups three filingjurisdictionsUnited Kingdom, United States and South Africa.

Your key responsibilities will include:

As part of thetaxreporting team,providingtechnical guidanceon tax matters related to accounting and regulatory developmentboth with respect ofactual reporting and forecasting;collaborate with the wider tax reporting team tointegrate evolving requirements into existing processes.Work with the widertaxreporting team toproactivelymonitoraccounting standardsandregulatory requirements (e.g. UK Listing, Securities and Exchange Commission) ensuring that corporate tax reporting isaligned withthe changing regulatory and accountingframeworkUpdates to internal policy manuals for tax regulatory or tax accounting changeensuring consistency and clarityContribute toproposal papers on the application of tax enhancements, accounting and regulatory developments ensuring technical accuracy, impact analysis on primary statements, KPIs andNon-GAAPmeasures. Support the teamindrafting of proposed disclosure requirements and clear articulation of risks and mitigations.Collaborateontax assessing differences across all accounting and regulatory updates to include how these impact tax KPIs e.g. effective tax rate and taxNon-GAAPmeasures.Work as part of the tax reporting teamto review actual and forecast data from the Groups reporting system within timeline to ensureaccurateapplication of tax accounting and regulatory changes.Support the development ofsystem capabilitiesthat enableefficientcompliance withaccounting and regulatory developments across the Group, including actuals reporting, true up procedures and forecasting.Contribute todraftingandmaintainingbusiness processes for annual and interim actual reporting and for forecast tax rate reporting,in accordance withaccounting and regulatory developments.Assistin developing andcomplying withSOxcontrolsassociated with tax reporting processes.Ensuringallnewdevelopments are built into the tax reporting timetable andthatappropriatebusinessas usual resourcingplans are proposed and implemented to supportgoverned changes.Collaborate on creating anddeliveringtraining and communication plans to the Global Tax & Finance functionpromoting awareness and understanding of changesCoordinating consistent compliance to accounting and regulatory changes across end markets

What are we looking for?

Financial reporting experience required with IFRS and US GAAPexpertisestrongly preferred.Experience of implementing changes in accounting standards or regulations within a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment preferred.A thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systemsincludingSAP and BPC.Effective working relationships across multiple stakeholders – including non-finance.Ability to work under pressure, keep to tight deadlines and be motivated to deal with ambiguity.Excellent tax accounting technical knowledge.Degree educated with relevant professional accountancy/legal and tax qualification.CA and or CTA qualified.
