Term-time plus 5 training days (195 days), permanent contract.
We have an exciting vacancy within our team to work as a Cover Supervisor playing a vital role supervising classes in the absence of subject teachers; you will need to be able to adapt and be flexible in your way of working as no two days are the same.
The Role
The primary focus of this role is the supervision of classes in the absence of their timetabled subject teacher. This might be pre-planned, but is often a short notice assignment. Cover Supervisors are provided with work planned for the lesson and are responsible for ensuring students remain on task and make progress using that material.

You will have the opportunity to develop your classroom management practice, either as someone looking to step into teaching or with an interest in other areas of Education. This is a great role to work within lots of different subjects and classroom dynamics.
You will have access to a host of CPD and training opportunities both internal and external with the option to take on additional responsibilities in areas of interest.
