This role involves shift working, including weekends. The earliest start time is 04:40am and the latest finish is 01:13am.
Customer Welcome Hosts are often the first friendly face passengers meet. You’ll help set the tone for someone’s entire journey — offering reassurance, guidance and a warm welcome.
We’re looking for people who bring positive energy, confidence, empathy, and a can-do attitude. If you enjoy helping others, solving problems and being part of a supportive team, you’ll feel right at home.

Guiding people to the right place and offering help when it's needed
Checking tickets
Delivering consistently excellent service
Giving clear advice and travel information
Supporting on platforms, including helping passengers who need a little extra assistance
No previous rail experience is needed — if you’re passionate about people, we’ll provide all the training you need.
