About the Role
Richmond Business School is expanding its Creative Industries provision and has opened a new, purpose-built multimedia 3D suite to support learners who want to enter the creative sector, upskill for employment, or develop their freelance/business portfolio.
We are now recruiting variable hours (hourly-paid) Tutors with current industry expertise in 3D modelling and design, using one or more of the following software:

You will teach short introductory courses and accredited awards delivered onsite in our specialist 3D suite. This is an excellent opportunity for practitioners who want flexible teaching hours and the chance to help develop new local talent for the creative economy.
What you will do
Deliver engaging, practical sessions that build core 3D skills and confidenceSupport learners to create portfolio-ready outcomes and understand progression routes (further study, employment, freelance/self-employment)Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of course content and learning materialsAssess learner work where required and provide clear, constructive feedbackWork collaboratively with Programme Managers and the wider teamAttend termly team meetings and participate in CPD/training to keep practice currentWhat we are looking for
Strong, up-to-date skills in at least one listed 3D tool (additional tools welcome)Ability to explain concepts clearly to mixed-level adult learners (beginners included)Professional, reliable, learner-centred approach and a commitment to inclusive practiceTeaching qualification Applicants should either:
Hold a recognised teaching qualification, orBe willing to undertake one (through the College or independently via another provider)Why teach with us

Ideally, you will also bring recent or relevant industry experience and can demonstrate a learner-centred approach that stretches and challenges individuals appropriately. Level 5 teaching qualification (or equivalent)Minimum 1–2 years’ teaching experienceAssessor qualification (e.g., TAQA/TAAQ or equivalent), or willingness to work towards thisIf you are not yet fully qualified to teach: Applicants with strong industry experience, some teaching/training experience, and the right approach are welcome. If you do not already hold the required teaching and assessing qualifications, you will need to undertake RHACC’s internal teacher training route, typically progressing through:
Level 3 Award in Education and TrainingTAQA Assessor qualificationLevel 5 Diploma in Education and TrainingThis pathway is designed to support skilled practitioners to become confident, effective tutors in an adult learning environment.
