Job Description Defence Trent Aero (DTA) Fleet & MRO Manager Full time Bristol The Fleet & MRO Manager is a key leadership role in the UK&I Mature programmes organisation, accountable for ensuring that all contracted maintenance activities are planned, enabled, optimised and executed. It is primarily a programme management role to ensure these activities are optimised in the delivery of quality, cost and delivery - achieving and exceeding the business targets. Responsibilities Interfacing with the customer and the wider organisation to understand the total maintenance requirement and, develop an integrated and optimised plan across the defence business to deliver. The Fleet & MRO Manager role may combine tactical fleet management and maintenance delivery activities, depending on the specific customer and contract. The Fleet and MRO Manager will define the maintenance strategy and work with the business to develop the capability required to enact. What you will be doing; Managing and monitoring fleet reliability characteristics and coordinate with MRTT Programme Manager, and Customer Service Manager, and customers to resolve customer MRO & fleet issues. Manage and Coordinate with the Civil business to resolve customer MRO & fleet issues and assist MRO Facilities in the development and implementation of engine work scope Optimize engine reliability and maintenance activities when engines enter MRO Review hardware in MRO, storage facilities, and in the field, to support improvements in engine work scopes and identification of opportunities for cost efficiencies Manage customer communications, presentations and report documents detailing status of engine works copes and investigations Manage the definition & customer delivery plans including shop visits, on-wing maintenance & spare engines associated activities Manage with the CSM the resolution of services-related Customer complaints, Service Delivery Failures, Customer Satisfaction metrics. Manage the communication and coordination including prioritising into the relevant parts of our business to resolve. This role sits within the VP Transport team, led by Alice Boswell which is responsible for the execution of the contractual requirements across all Transport OE and Aftermarket contracts.
