Reuters Events Data Apprentice (13 Month Fixed Contract) If you are a recent sixth form or college leaver with a keen interest in data, who wants to springboard their career in the world leading media organisation, whilst getting a grounding in key business skills, we at Reuters Events would like to talk to you! We’re looking for individuals looking to start their career in data: To have a positive impact on the world, on critical industries, and the communities working within them Develop a first-class commercial skill set Create genuinely world-class events and Be part of an entrepreneurial, diverse, and inspired team We are hiring 2 Level 3 Data Apprentices to join Reuters Events, a fast-growing team within Reuters. Reuters Events deliver world-class conferences and content across the globe, and work with industry leaders and visionaries to provide the critical intelligence senior level executives need to make strategic decisions. We are currently recruiting for 2 Data Apprentices to support our expanding reporting and data management needs. Disclaimer: This is a 13-month placement within Reuters Events whilst completing a Level 3 ‘Data & Insights for Business Decisions’ apprenticeship qualification through Multiverse (A-Level/ B-Tech equivalent, not full degree) to start in June 2025. 20% of the working week will be dedicated to coursework and learning. This is a fixed term role. About the Role As a Data Apprentice here at Reuters Events, you will: Work with externally sourced data lists to prepare data for import into the CRM and other applications. Edit, merge and unsubscribe internal database contact records. Build routine reports and dashboards using Salesforce and Power BI. Work with our Data Analyst and other stakeholders to clean and audit data entry across multiple channels. Manage our service-desk requests and communicate with stakeholders from all business functions. Provide support to the marketing operations team during busy periods. About You To be our Data Apprentice, you will likely have: A logical mind, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills A passion for learning, both on the job and during the apprenticeship course A love of technology, with foundational Excel and data skills Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, high-growth environment Great communication skills Role-specific qualifications (such as A-Level or B-Tech in Maths, IT, Business or similar) are desirable but not required.
