Product Engineering at JLR is centred on innovation and creativity. From advanced driver assistance systems to developing the future of electric propulsion, the opportunities to create exceptional experiences for the future of motoring are wide-ranging. You'll work alongside industry experts to drive product strategy, manage programs, analyse performance, and lead transformation initiatives. Exceptional careers that bring world-renowned vehicles to life start here.

At JLR, data is at the heart of how we engineer, manufacture, and deliver modern luxury vehicles. Our Cockpit team is forming a dedicated off-cycle agile squad focused on improving the quality and reliability of cockpit systems through data-driven insights and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for a Data Quality Engineer with strong analytical skills and experience in building dashboards and reporting tools to help monitor, visualise, and improve key quality metrics across our cockpit systems.

WHAT TO EXPECT

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and improving data quality processes, building visual dashboards, and supporting cross-functional teams with actionable insights. You’ll work closely with engineering, quality, and supplier teams to ensure that data is accurate, timely, and used effectively to drive decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining and enhancing cockpit quality dashboards using Tableau, PowerApps, or similar tools to visualise key metrics. Monitoring and reporting on data quality KPIs such as warranty spend, repair rates, and issue resolution timelines. Supporting root cause analysis and ensuring lessons learned are captured and reflected in data models and reporting structures. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve data flows, reporting accuracy, and process transparency. Contributing to the development of future data quality processes and tools that support agile, data-led decision-making.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

Experience in managing & driving engineering quality improvements. Yellow Belt 6 sigma or equivalent methodology knowledge. Experience in DFMEA authoring. An understanding of Engineering Standards. Tableau and/or Powerapps author.

Creating Modern Luxury requires a modern approach to work. At JLR, hybrid working is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement providing employees more choice and flexibility around how, when and where they work. Some roles require more on-site work, but details of this can be discussed with the hiring manager during the interview stage.

We work hard to nurture a culture that is inclusive and welcoming to all. We understand candidates may require reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process. Please discuss these with your recruiter so we can accommodate your needs.

Applicants from all backgrounds are welcome. If you’re unsure that you meet the full criteria of a role – but you're interested in where it could take you – we still encourage you to apply. We believe in people's ability to grow and develop within their role – it’s what makes living the exceptional with soul possible.

JLR is committed to equal opportunity for all.
