Working in Manufacturing at JLR, you'll be the hands-on expert who brings innovation to life. You'll collaborate with a team of expert technicians and problem-solvers and use cutting-edge tools, facilities, and processes engineered together to build era-defining vehicles that people across the world know and love. Your expertise will directly impact the shaping of modern luxury. Together, let’s create the exceptional.

The MP&L Data Integrity department plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and alignment of inventory across Solihull by managing the reconciliation processes and overseeing a team of counters to maintain data accuracy. The role also encompasses overseeing the integration of engineering changes for both current and new vehicle models, providing analytical insights to support decision-making, and driving improvements across supply chain processes.

The role involves analysing data to ensure inventory accuracy, managing engineering change activities, and collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless part introduction and inventory alignment. You will lead a team responsible for conducting perpetual inventory counts and ensuring alignment with system data, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining the overall integrity of the system.

You will also be responsible for developing and reporting on key supply chain metrics, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve overall efficiency and accuracy. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to manage both data and a team effectively.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Lead the MP&L team responsible for perpetual inventory counts and reconciliation. • Analyse data and develop reports to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity. • Act as the MP&L point of contact for current/future engineering change actions, providing analytical support and insights. • Oversee the approval or rejection of concerns and alerts related to engineering changes, ensuring all data is aligned before release. • Coordinate the timing and integration of part number changes into CMMS3 and ECCS, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity. • Communicate part number changes and associated timings to relevant stakeholders across the business. • Support production operations through smooth introduction of new part numbers and model year changes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for change processes. • Utilize SAP and CMMS to manage obsolete material and maintain system stocks in alignment with FM guidelines. • Maintain and update data within CMMS3, ensuring alignment with install area, advance jobs, commodity codes, and cycle checker codes. • Continuously analyse and improve data integrity processes to enhance supply chain efficiency.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Strong analytical skills with a background in data analysis within MP&L or supply chain environments. • Understanding of Engineering Change Control and Inventory Management principles. • Proficiency in relevant business systems (including CMMS3 and SAP). • Ability to interpret and utilize logistics and supply chain knowledge to support decision-making
