This review offers a comprehensive overview of the Delivery Manager position at The King's Trust in London, designed to assist potential candidates in making informed career decisions.

Opportunity Overview: Delivery Manager

The King's Trust is undergoing a period of significant growth and is seeking a dedicated and ambitious Delivery Manager to join its Management Team. This permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week) is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about empowering young people through personal development, education, employment, and enterprise.

Key Advantages for Candidates:

  • Impactful Work: Directly contribute to empowering over 40,000 young people annually, with a high success rate of positive outcomes in work, education, or training. This role offers a profound sense of purpose and the chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
  • Career Development: Join an organization committed to staff growth. You'll benefit from an in-house learning platform, opportunities for personal development through various employee networks (KT CAN, KT GEN, KT DAWN, PULSE), and the experience of working within a developing and ambitious organisation.
  • Excellent Benefits Package: The King's Trust offers a highly attractive benefits package, including:
    • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays and office closure between Christmas and New Year.
    • Flexible working arrangements, combining office-based and hybrid working.
    • Comprehensive family leave policies (enhanced maternity, adoption, and paternity pay).
    • Interest-free season ticket loans.
    • A generous pension scheme with a 5% employer contribution.
    • Life assurance cover (4x annual salary).
    • A robust benefits platform offering health and financial well-being support, as well as discounts.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work as part of a dynamic Management Team, collaborating with Delivery Partners and employers across London to develop and implement impactful programmes.
  • Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: The King's Trust is a Stonewall Top 100 Employer and a Disability Confident employer, actively seeking to build a diverse workforce that reflects the communities they serve.

Key Considerations for Candidates:

  • Location and Hybrid Working: The role is based in London and requires a minimum of 2-3 days in the office per week to facilitate programme delivery. Candidates should be comfortable with this hybrid model.
  • Salary and Progression: The salary range is £33,005.00 to £41,256.00, which will be determined by your location, skills, knowledge, and experience. This offers a good foundation with potential for growth within the organization.
  • Application Process: The application requires a CV and a Cover Letter that articulates your experience, transferable skills, and motivation for working with The King's Trust.
  • Assessment Centre: Be prepared for an assessment centre in Islington, London EC1V 8DG on the 17th November 2025 (10am - 4pm), followed by interviews via Teams on the 18th November 2025.
  • Essential Skills: The role demands strong interpersonal skills, effective planning and organisational abilities, robust data analysis skills, and a proven track record in operational management.
  • Safeguarding Commitment: A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people is paramount. Basic disclosure checks will be undertaken, and for roles directly with young people, an enhanced level check will be required. A criminal record will not automatically disqualify applicants.
  • Closing Date: Applications must be submitted by 23:59 on Monday 3rd November 2025.

This Delivery Manager position is ideal for a proactive and compassionate individual looking to advance their career in the non-profit sector while making a significant positive impact on the lives of young people. If you possess the required skills and a genuine passion for youth development, this opportunity at The King's Trust presents a compelling path forward.
