A unique opportunity to join the University Executive Board and contribute to the strategic transformation of our academic provision within the university to ensure financial sustainability whilst maintaining excellent student and staff experience and outcomes aligned to the university’s strategy.
Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and working with other members of the University Executive Board and the wider university leadership group, you will support the planning and delivery of organisational change in relation to academic organisation, delivery, workforce structure and planning, and portfolio optimization.
You will be ensuring that best people practice is applied including appropriate leadership, management, development and training for the large and diverse workforce in support of the transformational change programme.
Taking a strategic, proactive, user-focused approach to supporting the planning and delivery of academic transformation programmes across the University, ensuring the highest standards of delivery whilst maintaining high quality staff and student experience and outcomes.
You will require:
A strong record of strategic academic leadership and management at a senior levelAn in-depth knowledge and understanding of existing academic operations, challenges and opportunities across the University.An ability to engage and influence stakeholdersA track record of driving innovation in academic deliverySuccessful implementation of change to support financial sustainability.This is a permanent full-time post on the University Negotiated Salary only open to members of staff currently employed by the university.
