The Department 

The Finance Department supports the University’s strategy to enhance the student experience by delivering financial sustainability through financial leadership, strategic planning and informed procurement. We ensure the long-term financial sustainably of UWL, maximising efficiency and effectiveness of available resources. The Role 

The Deputy Income Manager working with the Income & Commercial Manager will be responsible for meeting and collecting the demanding income targets circa £200million with aspirations to grow year on year. They will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the university’s income operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial processes. This will include driving student recruitment, accommodation and enterprise whilst working with other University stakeholders including Schools, Marketing, IT and HR. 

The Person

We are looking for an experienced individual who is educated to degree level or equivalent and are a member of Institute of Credit Management. 

The successful candidate must possess knowledge of financial systems and other higher education account systems, have knowledge of SITS system, and boast great attention to detail and multi-tasking.
