About the Job
The post holder will provide technical expertise and knowledge within the End User Compute team to ensure UEL’s students and staff receive the highest quality experience for their digital workspace environments. This includes the provision and support of a unified desktop environment (UDE), including Microsoft builds for university supplied desktops, laptops, tablets with operating systems including Windows, Mac, Android and IOS based services.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject or equivalent practical experience demonstrating a relevant level of knowledge. It is essential that candidates possess proficient knowledge of and skill in multiple technologies, including Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10 and MacOS), support technologies (MS System Centre Configuration Manager, Intune), etc., with an understanding of emerging desktop management solutions and a strong passion for today's and tomorrow's technology.
We are looking for a positive team player who proactively supports the EUC team activities, is confident to progress and chase information, and has the self-drive and tenacity to achieve deadlines and resolve issues.
