This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements
We are looking for a student intern to join our busy Marketing, Sales and Communications team for 12 months from July 2026. The Facilities Directorate is responsible for the multi-million-pound development of the campus as well as managing the University’s commercial services such as our cafes, residences and sports facilities.
Working with the Digital Marketing team in the Facilities Directorate, you will help produce innovative and creative digital marketing campaigns that will make a difference to how students and staff engage with the services on campus. You’ll have a real hands-on role, working on all aspects of digital marketing including websites, email and social media, giving you a real opportunity to make decisions and take ownership of projects.
You will have the chance to develop new skills, work with expert marketers across the team and create your own digital content for our various digital channels. Supporting marketing teams across Campus Reimagined, Internal Comms (Facilities Directorate), Estates, Sport & Physical Activity, Catering, Conferences & Events, Residential Services, and Sustainability, you’ll be tasked with bringing to light the behind-the-scenes services that make the University of Leeds tick. You could make a real and lasting impact on how your University appears digitally for years to come!
