Direct Procurement Process Manager - 18 Months Secondment / Fixed-Term Contract

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Direct Procurement Process Manager to play a pivotal role in GSK's ERP Evolution programme. This 18-month secondment or fixed-term contract offers a chance to leverage your deep expertise in direct procurement processes and systems within a significant organizational transformation. For an initial period, the ERP Evolution Programme team will be temporarily based in Chiswick, providing a focused environment for impactful work.

What You'll Be Doing:

As the Direct Procurement Process Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of GSK's direct procurement operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding and Articulating Business Requirements: You will translate business needs into clear process designs and system specifications, proposing and evaluating design options.
  • Driving Process Design: Actively participate in ERP Evolution workshops, ensuring that GSK's unique Direct Procurement nuances and requirements are captured and integrated into the new processes and solutions.
  • Collaboration and Translation: Work closely with System Integrators (SI) and business representatives to accurately document and implement workshop decisions into the design blueprint.
  • Ensuring Governance: Uphold the governance process for global process and solution design, escalating matters to the design board as needed.
  • Overseeing Implementation: Partner with the business implementation team to ensure the accurate interpretation and execution of the process and system design blueprint.
  • Managing Deviations: Ensure any deviations from the approved design are meticulously documented and routed through the appropriate design authority for approval.
