We are looking for self-motivated, proactive candidates who have strong and genuine interests in quantitative electronic trading, with good analytical skills and a candidate who will always strive for excellence. The candidate must be a team player, able to work effectively and collaborate with colleagues across the firm. Qualified candidates have a strong background in electronic trading, business analysis, technical writing, and cross-team coordination and communication. The successful candidate must be able to understand complex client trading scenarios, data rules and logic, manage numerous simultaneous projects, and be an active contributor to strategic and technical discussions. The primary role for this position is to ensure that the MSET Quant client offering is appropriately managed from a platform, client on boarding and trading risk perspective. This will require working with peers globally and regionally to effectively manage the Quant execution platforms, including Morgan Stanley’s ultra-low latency co-located platform, Speedway. Key areas of responsibility include : • Prioritization and coordination of all aspects of the agency Quant execution platform, including coordination of various technology, risk management, compliance and operations teams • Understand the client investment decision (and associated work flow) and create risk controlled services that meet the client objectives • Utilize a deep understanding of the EMEA co-located execution venues to identify opportunities for clients that would generate revenues for the MSET business • Develop execution solutions to adapt to changes in regulation and market structure • Enforce procedures covering co-location risk checks, limits management and the routing of DMA orders into the market • Revise and maintain co-location risk management procedures with global collaboration. • Work with other Product Managers within MSET and others desks in IED and contribute towards MSET business initiatives #LI-KF1 Qualifications What we're looking for: The candidate will ideally have at least 3 years relevant experience in electronic trading on multi-asset classes (Equities, Derivatives and Swaps), with focus on quant trading activity. • Knowledge of co-location technology and low level network transport protocols • Experience analyzing high volume network traffic using big data tools • Knowledge of EMEA regulatory and compliance landscape • Experience of low latency client execution consultancy and market structure • Creation of functional specifications, process flow diagram and product documentation writing • Ability to successfully manage and prioritize numerous simultaneous large projects, small tasks and ad-hoc requests • Ability to work independently and to drive projects to completion, while proactively ensuring project teams and relevant stakeholders are kept up to date and expectations properly managed • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to succinctly articulate complex concepts • Strong client facing communication skills and an ability to disseminate complex information clearly • Effective time management, relationship management, negotiation and prioritization skills Flexible work statement: Interested in flexible working opportunities?
