What the day will look like

In this wide and varied role your key responsibilities will include:

Lead teams in developing and validating advanced actuarial, financial, and statistical models using PathWise solutions.Drive business growth by supporting regional development and presenting modelling strategies to senior technical and non-technical collaborators.Mentor and develop talent, guiding junior modellers and analysts to build a strong, capable team.Contribute to innovation by creating world-class modelling libraries and providing SME input into client solutions.Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring regulatory changes and emerging modelling techniques to shape strategic direction

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Extensive expertise: 15+ years in the life insurance industry with deep experience in actuarial software and model development.Leadership and communication: Proven ability to lead modelling teams and present complex actuarial concepts clearly to senior collaborators and clients.Technical proficiency: Strong programming skills (Python, R, SAS or similar) and in-depth knowledge of market-leading actuarial software.Analytical excellence: Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and data analysis capabilities.Academic foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Economics, or related field, or a Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
