The University of East London (UEL) invites applications from experienced and dynamic leaders for the Director of Strategic Communications and Public Relations role. This pivotal position is part of the External Relations Directorate (ERD), which integrates Communications, Engagement, Marketing, Student Recruitment, and Digital Transformation services.

The Director will be instrumental in shaping UEL’s strategic messaging, public relations, and reputation management. Working closely with the Vice-President (Engagement) & Chief Marketing Officer, the role will drive UEL’s brand positioning, stakeholder engagement, and change communications as part of the university’s multi-year transformation programme.

We are seeking a results-oriented professional with:
