About the Role: Engineer 1 (Mechanical Engineering)
As an Engineer 1 at Westinghouse, you will play a crucial role in delivering essential Mechanical Engineering tasks for one or more significant projects. You'll have the chance to either work independently on specific deliverables, supported by experienced Principal or Senior Mechanical Engineers, or collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Reporting to the Manager, Process & Equipment Engineering, you'll be based at their Warrington facility.
Key Responsibilities and Skill Development:
- Technical Design Proficiency: Develop design solutions using industry-standard software like AutoCAD and Inventor, producing detailed drawings for both proposal stages and manufacturing.
