  • Shape Product Innovation: This position offers direct involvement in the development of the global product roadmap. You will actively support research into new technologies and potential product expansions beyond traditional offerings.
  • Manage Financials and Strategy: You will be responsible for the European Engineering and Laboratory budget, including month-end closing, forecasting, and developing the budget for the following year. Furthermore, you will drive cost reduction initiatives, optimize footprint utilization, and implement efficiency improvements through digital tools, simulation, and automation.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Building strong, cooperative relationships with adjacent departments such as Sales, Purchasing, Finance, EDS, Electronics, High Power, Seating, and Quality is paramount. This collaborative approach is essential for the successful execution of projects and strategic goals.
  • Customer Engagement: You will have the opportunity to present Lear's engineering capabilities and product focus to customers during Technical Design Reviews (TDRs) and guide the engineering teams through the RFQ process and TDR preparations.
  • Lead CTO Initiatives: Driving Cost-Saving Initiatives (CTO) is a critical function, requiring the development of clear roadmaps and actionable plans through regular workshops to ensure annual targets are met.
