• Safety Management Plan: You will be instrumental in managing and continuously updating the Safety Management Plan, ensuring its ongoing alignment with project requirements and evolving best practices. This is a foundational element for maintaining robust safety protocols.
• Design Basis Management: Should the need arise from August 2025 onwards, you will take ownership of managing the Design Basis, a critical component that underpins the safety and functionality of the systems you support.
• Cat and Class Development: You will be responsible for managing the development of 'Cat and Class' designations, utilizing established defense standards such as DEFSTAN 02-207. This requires a meticulous approach to classification and adherence to stringent regulatory frameworks.
• Stakeholder Engagement or Defence in Depth: Depending on project priorities, your role may involve either the creation and management of the Stakeholder Management Plan, fostering crucial relationships, or the development and implementation of the Defence in Depth strategy, a vital layered approach to safety assurance.
• 1PA Management and GEAR Support: You will manage 1PA (likely referring to a specific internal process or system) and, as part of this, provide essential support to GEAR, contributing to broader organizational objectives and continuous improvement.
