As an Equipment and Stores Operative, you will be the backbone of essential military training operations. Your daily responsibilities will be varied and crucial, encompassing the smooth operation of equipment and stores management. This role is not for the faint of heart; it is a physically active position that requires dedication and a proactive approach. You will be instrumental in ensuring that Combat Engineers have the resources they need to succeed in their training, directly supporting national defence efforts.

Advantages for Potential Candidates:

  • Meaningful Contribution: Directly support national defence and play a part in shaping the future of combat engineering training.

  • Work-Life Balance & Remuneration: The standard working hours are 37 per week, typically Monday to Thursday (08:00-16:30) and Friday (08:00-16:00). Any overtime is compensated at enhanced rates, offering flexibility and additional earning potential.
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Beyond the competitive salary, Babcock offers a generous holiday allowance, a matched contribution pension scheme with life assurance, and access to Aviva DigiCare+ for digital GP services, health checks, and nutritional consultations.
