Flight Operations Coordinator

INEOS Aviation operates a fleet of fixed wing and rotary aircraft. The purpose of this fleet is to deliver a flying operation that meets the needs of the INEOS principals (INCap) and the INEOS Group. A robust long-term plan that balances complex requirements against resources is central to delivering a safe and efficient flying operation at the highest possible standard.    Purpose of the job: The Flight Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that everything is in place to enable safe and efficient execution of the dynamic and fluid flying programme. They actively manage flight execution from end-to-end, providing the first layer of oversight and support to the crew. Environment/Context: Delivering the highest standards of safety and service to our principals is the purpose of INEOS Aviation and this is judged through their experiences when interacting with us. Successful interaction with external parties when coordinating and executing plans is the most important external factor influencing the success of this role. Accountabilities of the job: Operational Coordination In consultation with INCap PAs and other stakeholders, conduct final coordination of the travel requirements.   Collate information to generate accurate Flight Packs for the day no later than 3 hrs before first crew report. Conduct Flight Planning, monitoring flight plans and ATC slots i.a.w company procedures. Coordinate cargo requirements, communicating these requirements clearly to the crew.  Monitor Flight Time Limitations to ensure compliant with OMA Sec 7 requirements. Actively manage the flying programme, identifying problems and proposing solutions to deliver INEOS travel requirements efficiently and at the highest possible level of service. Promptly elevate issues in a timely manner to GOM/FOpsM if they cannot be quickly resolved, cause concern or carry additional risk.  Coordinate access to aircraft for 3rd Parties to facilitate maintenance and cleaning requirements. Coordinate short notice crew hotac/travel requirements because of changes to the plan.   Identify and elevate operational requirements to the GOM/FOpsM that necessitate additional review or approval such as airfield categorisations or extended duties as a result of changes to the plan.    Prepare and brief the shift handover, capturing any outstanding requirements and identifying areas that require additional monitoring. Enhance the robustness of our support network through professional and constructive engagement with third-party providers. Be familiar with the INEOS Aviation ERP and be prepared to activate it in the event of an accident or serious incident. Business Support Actively engage in the company Safety Management System through the proactive identification of hazards with particular focus on identifying risks associated with a changing plan. Identify business process improvement opportunities for consideration by the Senior Management Team and implement them when agreed. Assist with the training and mentoring of new employees, emphasising the complexity of the flying programme. Supervision of staff: This is not a supervisory position.
