Job Description Job Title: Finance Analyst – UK Defence Working Pattern: Full-time Working Location: Bristol / Hybrid We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our high-performing UK Defence Finance team in Bristol. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing key financial insight, performance analysis and business partnering support to drive decision-making across mission-critical programmes. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week. What You Will Be Doing With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to: Own the monthly management accounts process for UK Defence Aerospace programmes, including journals, forecasting, and commentary. Provide analysis and make financial recommendations to improve programme performance. Conduct monthly Balance Sheet reviews and manage key control items. Lead forecasting processes for revenue, cash, and profit — ensuring accuracy and insightful commentary. Partner with Supply Chain, Pricing and Programme teams on budgeting, cash forecasting, and commercial decisions. Support contract pricing queries, audits, and long-term contract financial reviews. Who We’re Looking For At Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. To be successful in this role you will need to: Be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with a strong academic track record. Have experience in SAP and Excel, with strong reporting and analytical skills. Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and the ability to explain financial insights to non-finance colleagues. Show excellent self-management and prioritisation across a varied reporting landscape.
