Why this role matters

One of BT’s key strategic priorities is for EE/BT to retain its No.1 Mobile Network status in the UK.

This Business Partnering role will work closely with the teams who are delivering key elements of the plan and driving the investments needed to deliver on this top priority for the Group, including but, not limited, to the investment in Core infrastructure, Mobile Voice platforms and Shared Rural Networks.

The role works closely with the Business Operations function to manage the internal Capex (OWC) as well as the Investments that arise from our Vendor Partners.

Networks is in a period of transformation and this role will be expected to be a key driving force in this journey, influencing the mobile leadership team in achieving a best-in-class finance function without adversely impacting operational delivery.

What you'll be doing
Business partner with Mobile Network Directors and their Senior teams to achieve their goals. Drive efficient management of available capex – through efficiency initiatives, procurements and investment appraisal. Close management of NFCF/Capital Creditors. Lead the optimisation of end-to-end finance processes to maximise finance control, insight and forecast accuracy.
The skills you'll need
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) Proven ability to influence and build key relationships with appropriate business partners Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial outcomes to various stakeholders Experience of financial management and delivery of improved financial performance. Strategic capability and commercial awareness. Experience across a wide range of finance disciplines.
