The Opportunity: Be a Catalyst for Change
This position is central to Reckitt's ambitious controls transformation initiative. You will be part of a regional control assurance squad, playing a vital role in executing assurance and transformation activities across a complex, geographically dispersed business. Reporting to the Assurance Finance Manager, you'll work collaboratively to assess, improve, and embed robust financial controls, directly contributing to sustainable growth and value protection for Reckitt.
Key Responsibilities and Your Impact:
- Drive Transformation: Partner with Squad Leads and Managers to deliver critical controls transformation and assurance activities. This includes engaging with market teams, planning and scoping, assessing control design, testing operational effectiveness, supporting remediation efforts, and reporting on progress.
- Enhance Control Frameworks: Contribute to the development of the control framework and identify opportunities for automation in testing.
- Facilitate Knowledge Sharing: Support the delivery of market training programs to embed best practices and enhance control awareness.
- Manage External Partnerships: Coordinate effectively with third-party providers involved in the transformation and assurance plan.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to complete operational effectiveness testing and provide ongoing support to control owners and operators.
- Provide Expert Guidance: Offer advice and support to market stakeholders on controls, and assist with remediation activities, acting as a key point of contact for control champions and market teams.
- Report and Document: Prepare clear and concise status reports on progress, and support the Assurance Finance Manager and wider Controls Team in preparing materials for various stakeholders.
- Maintain Integrity: Ensure all documentation is maintained appropriately and updated in a timely manner to reflect current control environments.
- Facilitate Effective Meetings: Support the Squad Manager by facilitating meetings and managing market walkthroughs, ensuring productive engagement and clear communication.

Who You Are:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in finance and internal controls, coupled with a collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills. Key qualifications and attributes include:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Demonstrable knowledge of internal controls principles and frameworks.
- Familiarity with core finance end-to-end business processes (e.g., P2P, O2C, R2R, Inventory).
- An accountancy qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is advantageous.
- Experience in finance positions, particularly with a Big 4 background, is considered a strong asset.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and networking abilities.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, with the ability to articulate complex concepts concisely.
- A proactive and transparent approach to work.
- Experience working effectively with virtual teams and proficiency with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams.
