Financial Planning & Analysis Manager - 1yr FTC with intention to extend
Background:
The University of Hull is looking for a FP&A Manager to help drive the strategy and business plans of the Directorate.
The University continues to head on a journey of change, esepcially around its digital infrastructure, currently implementing a new ERP system which will transform the way we operate on a daily basis. This is an exciting time to join whilst we navigate through change and challenge set in the HE sector.
Transformation will play a critical role in supporting the University of Hull’s financial transformation agenda. This role will focus on driving efficiency, enhancing financial processes, and delivering strategic financial insights to support decision-making during a period of significant change. The postholder will work closely with senior leadership, finance teams, and other key stakeholders to embed financial best practices and support the delivery of a sustainable financial model.
We are looking for:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant FP&A experience.Proven track record in financial transformation, change management, or process improvement.Strong analytical, modelling, and problem-solving skills.Experience working within higher education or a complex organisational environment (desirable but not essential).Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.For more info:
