ABOUT THE ROLE As a Warehouse First Line Manager, you'll oversee the operational procedures of the warehouse and a team of Partners working in it to ensure the smooth running of our supply chain operation. At a glance Due to the nature of this role you must be Over 18 to apply Salary range - For this role the salary starts from £36,400 per annum, depending on skills and experience Please note this role will attract a shift premium of 33.33% of the base rate, this is an additional earning of up to £12,132.12 per annum Contract type - This is a Permanent role Work Pattern - 37.5 hours per week Various shifts between the hours 20:00-07:00, 4 nights per week. Working alternate weekends Location - Coulsdon Customer Fulfilment Centre Due to the working hours, you need to be 18-years or older to work in this role. Key Responsibilities Working in our supply chain operation is fast paced as we aim to ensure stock is in the right place at the right time for our customers. On a day-to-day basis, you'll be responsible for: - Ensuring Health and Safety and all legislative and operational procedures are adhered to. - Keeping the operation working smoothly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing these with your team. - Leading and developing a high performing team, acting as a role model for the Partnership. - Making sure all Partners are treated fairly and respectfully. - Supporting the wider teams within your site when required, including deputising for the Warehouse Shift Manager in their absence. Essential skills/experience you'll need -Experience in managing large teams -Able to demonstrate building great relationships within your own and wider teams, as well as internal and external Stakeholders -Able to work effectively with changing objectives. - Experience working in a management role in a Distribution / Warehouse environment with knowledge of working with warehouse management systems. - Stock Management experience. - A good understanding of Health and Safety legislation. - Experience of dealing with full disciplinary procedures according to ACAS guidelines You also can view a copy of the full job outline here: Internal applicants- please use the link below External Applicants - please see attached Job Outline Next Steps The application form consists of a CV upload followed by application questions.
