Lloyd are seeking to recruit a First Line Risk Manager sitting within Market Oversight and Delivery, this role will be seen as the dedicated first line risk person for Markets. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the first line risk framework across the function, to ensure continuous improvement of the risk and control environment, as well as being a dedicated point of contact for all risk queries and liaison with second and third line Risk. Principal Accountabilities Responsible for the ongoing review and development of the first line risk framework across Markets, liaising with Risk and ensuring a continuous improvement approach is taken in how first line risk is managed Review of individual function RCSAs, including appropriate risk and controls, identification of improvement areas and implementing suggested recommendations Provision of practical support for business areas as required, to help with improving risk culture Responsible for monitoring and supporting with the delivery of risk actions across Markets Responsible for the regular engagement of Markets risk reps and business managers, including chairing the Risk Working Group Responsible for monitoring, key Corporation and key departmental controls Liaison with other Corporation functions, particularly around the execution and development of key Corporation controls across Markets Responsible for the implementation of any new second line risk framework changes and initiatives, including, but not limited to, the Markets Key Controls Pilot in 2025 Point of contract for Internal Audit, including monitoring of audit outcomes and actions Skills Knowledge and Experience Experience of managing first line risk Experience of designing and amending governance frameworks Experience of stakeholder management within a regulatory environment Knowledge 1st line risk framework management Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders Ability to resolve problems Ability to design and deliver clear training material Ability to be self-sufficient and manage workload Diversity and inclusion are a focus for us – Lloyd aim is to build a diverse, inclusive environment that reflects the global markets we work in.
