The Opportunity: Freight Coordinator

As a Freight Coordinator, you will be at the heart of managing international freight shipments, from initial booking to final invoicing. You will be the central point of contact, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction throughout the entire shipping lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Arranging and managing international consignments, adhering strictly to client instructions and requirements.
  • Efficiently processing pre-alerts and shipping documentation.
  • Providing end-to-end monitoring of inbound and outbound freight movements.
  • Opening and managing files for Air, Sea, Road, and Courier shipments.

  • Handling day-to-day invoicing and job costing with accuracy.
  • Tracking and following up on purchase orders and shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality.
