The Equity Finance Technology team are seeking a lead position to manage the User Interface, located in Belfast. The role requires working with technologists across geographical locations and managing the delivery and technical strategy of the User Interface in Equity Finance. The successful candidate must exhibit strong leadership skills with a proven ability to deliver using an agile methodology.
Responsibilities:
Manage the technical strategy for the User Interface in Equity FinanceProvide leadership, mentorship and oversight for a team of developers located across locationsResolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standardsProvide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprintUtilise advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementationDevelop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goalsProvide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutionsServe as adviser or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessaryAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:
6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis roleExtensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applicationsExperience in managing and implementing successful projectsSubject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications DevelopmentAbility to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictateDemonstrated leadership and project management skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationKey Skills and Experience required
Extensive development experience, specifically with building User Interface's in React, C#, DotNet, SQLProven Investment banking experience with particular knowledge of Securities Lending and FundingProven ability to work in high pressure environmentFlexibility to work with a global team, across geographies and time zonesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategicallyFamiliarity with agile methodologies.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectationsAny Beneficial / Nice to have skills and experience:
