Are you an exceptionally talented, front end focused full stack ‘Creative’ Developer ready for your next challenge?

In this role you'll be collaborating with the University of Lincoln and the Lincolnshire Action Trust on a significant digital transformation project aimed at modernizing operations and enhancing impact over a 26-month. This project involves developing a custom web-based customer and staff management system, utilizing cutting-edge technology to achieve our business objectives.

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Web Developer to facilitate this initiative by integrating advanced digital technologies such as AI, automation, and data analysis with user-centred design and agile methodologies. The role is to work as the KTP Associate on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP), benefiting from direct engagement and support from both company senior management and academic teams, with potential for post-project employment subject to performance. Additionally, you will receive a residential training course on management skills, a professional development budget of up to £4,333, and the opportunity to pursue a Masters qualification.

We want a passionate, open-minded, and a talented team player who loves to be challenged. You should have a good understanding and demonstrable portfolio of user-centred design, UX and software development methodologies.  Although Graphic and UI design skills are preferable, you should be a proficient computer programmer who can develop code to operate on both front- and back-end systems. You should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with an eye for visual design and utility.  

Duties:

Creating user interactions on various platformsWriting clean, functional code on the front- and back-end, optimized for mobileDeveloping databases and services for functionality.  Participating in the design and creation of scalable softwareTesting and fixing bugs or other coding issues

Responsibilities:

Work with development teams and project managers to ideate software solutions.Review and integrate the current internal systems.Design client-side and server-side architecture  Build front-end applications through appealing visual design.Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.Write effective APIs.Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.Utilise security and data protection.Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.Write technical documentation.Evaluate and analyse data to improve software and user experience.
