<div><br></div> <p><span>DGF UK JOB VACANCY</span></p> <p><span>GATEWAY OPERATIONS AGENT (Shifts)</span></p><p><span><br></span></p> <p><span>Location:</span><span> BIRMINGHAM</span></p> <p><span>Hours:</span><span> 37.5 per week (15:00 to 23:30)</span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span>Key Activities:</span></p> <div align="left"><span><span>w</span></span><span>To be part of a small Gateway LDO AIR & ROAD Export Teams, Production of BHX Gateway/AFP paperwork/Truck planning and all related requirements for Exports.</span></div> <div align="left"><span><span>w</span></span><span>Liaise with airlines, and Road Hauliers, UK branches DGF Warehouse plus admin duties</span></div> <p><span>Job Process:</span><span> </span></p> <p><span>Duties will include the following key activities :       </span></p> <div align="left"><span><span>•</span></span><span>Achieve personal and operational targets and report any problems that may affect performance i.e. prepare paperwork for customs and airlines, monitor outbound flights and EU Trucks, EU Truck Planning,</span></div> <div align="left"><span><span>•</span></span><span>Ensure shipment procedures are followed according to operational procedures Maintain accurate data on company systems  </span></div> <div align="left"><span><span>•</span></span><span>Request materials and services needed to achieve targets.</span></div> <div align="left"><span><span>•</span></span><span>Contribute to safety and hygiene standards </span></div> <div align="left"><span><span>•</span></span><span>IT Generalist knowledge – Windows, Word, Excel</span></div> <p><span>Specific Technical Requirements</span><span>:  </span></p> <div align="left"><span><span>•</span></span><span>Prime function to ensure the accurate completion of Export Air and Road documentation.</span></div> <div align="left"><span><span>•</span></span><span>Dealing with the warehouse and external customer queries.</span></div> <div align="left"><span><span>•</span></span><span>Matching Export Records for export customs using the NES/CDS system.</span></div> <div align="left"><span><span>•</span></span><span>Document splitting and Admin</span></div> <div align="left"><span><span>•</span></span><span>Good communicator.</span></div> <div align="left"><span><span>•</span></span><span>Team Player</span></div> <br> <p><span>DHL </span><span>is the leading global brand in the logistics industry.
