Dove Men Care is the fastest-growing male PC brand of the last decade, with an ambition to double its size by 2030. Renowned as one of the worlds leading BPC brands, operating across Deodorant, Skin Cleansing and Hair by bringing superior care that mens skin and scalp truly deserve. As a purpose, Dove Men + Care wants to give men the courage to care for themselves and each other, and its in the process of launching in 2025 its new Brand Do program to help the next generation of boys grow to become caring men. DM+C has 60% of its business coming from the US the brand is still nascent in EU and LA with huge potential for further development. As DM+C International Assistant Brand Manager you will drive the future of the Horizon 2-3 innovation for Dove Men + Care, outside of North America.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Global Assistant Brand Manager will craft innovation for the Deodorant Category for Dove Men + Care outside of US.

The role will involve plenty of strategic thinking and crafting. This includes deeply understanding of premiumization within Personal Care, as well as Deos specific consumer jobs, pains and gains, creating brilliant concepts as well as crafting products using new and breakthrough technologies and formats that deliver superior benefits and are loved by male users and by the shopper. As part of your innovation projects, you will lead cross-functional teams, including R&D, SC, CMI, Finance. You will also often work with external partners too, such as research agencies, world-class design agencies experts globally.

The scope of this role will be global. This means that you will be partnering with the EU and LATAM BU teams to understand deeply the challenges in the markets and craft winning mixes to gain though leadership in the category.

Accountability

Deliver innovation OTIF (On Time In Full) for DM+C International aligned with your line Manager

Anticipate trends and take the brand to the new growth spaces first than anyone else.

Create a Funnel of Innovation for the next 3 years and interrogate its relevance and power against current market reality.

Understand success and adjust when learning arrives. Innovation needs to drive competitive growth and making DM+C the though leader for the customers, consumers and shoppes.

Deliver powerful future proofed Brand Experience Toolkits for the brand.

Collaborative and flexible WOW with the rest of the brand and BU & customer teams to create significant impact.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

The role is focused on crafting innovation. We are therefore specifically looking for:

A blend of business management and engagement with “crafting skills”: As a lover of words and design, you craft stories using images, shapes and simple language, whilst remaining locally relevant. You can connect the big themes in culture into simple narratives to deliver your message.

Strong strategic insight: This job requires strategic understanding of all the category needs across various countries and designing and crafting projects that align with the brand intent and the local needs.

Crafter: Experience crafting innovation, eye for beauty, intuition and ability to make sharp inspiring briefs to Designers

Highly collaborative individual with strong influencing skills
