Role purpose This role drives Global PR & Event activations for all product launches and key brand moments. It develops effective relationships with internal stakeholders and marketing managers across all regions to deliver global communications programs. You will be constantly identifying strong PR opportunities and measuring PR success. The objective is to increase brand visibility both online and offline and to elevate brand image through distinctive events designed for key opinion leaders and customers. Reporting into the Global Head of Advocacy and Social Media, the Global PR & Events Manager must constantly innovate to adapt to media evolutions while implementing impactful strategies for all product categories such as body care, skin care, fragrance and home products. Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to - Lead the development of Global PR & Event Strategy, communication and execution for product and marketing campaigns Development of PR messaging and assets for all product launches, leading project management and coordination with creative and marketing teams to meet deadlines Managing brand spokespersons for product launches: organising interviews, event participation and social media coverage Management and development of appropriate Aesop responses to varied media enquiries and interview requests from the markets. Liaise and work closely with key spokespeople to develop the right messaging and approach to media enquiries Coordinate product launches implementation with markets (validation of key PR activations and events) Lead the establishment of an effective global media reporting model to measure, review and report on global PR activity Build strong relationship with key global media titles Reinforce brand eventing strategy for key audiences (editors, content creators and customers) Develop event guidelines for each product launch in partnership with Aesop creative team and marketing team Develop content production guidelines for each event to increase event visibility on brand social channels. This is a full-time position operating with a hybrid working pattern, including 3 days on-site per week at Aesop Global Head Office, based in London Bridge. The role will operate on a fixed-term contract for a period of 12 months. What we are looking for - Significant PR or marketing experience Public Relations or Marketing Bachelor Degree, or similar Practical understanding and deep knowledge of PR Strong collaborative working style and listening skills Unparalleled attention to detail and project management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills â great communicator Ability to coordinate and collaborate with all markets globally, establish rapport with other internal teams, facilitate information sharing and to be persistent in delivering the ideal PR outcome A practical, positive attitude and adept at problem solving Strong leadership and people management skills, developing and managing a team.
