Background/General Purpose of Position: The Global Reward Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the delivery of Unilever reward agenda across the globe. Unilever are looking to reset some of the reward fundamentals. This role will contribute to the implementation, and operationalisation of compensation, job evaluation, incentive and transparency programmes, ensuring alignment with Unilever global reward philosophy, compliance standards, and strategic priorities. Priorities will include supporting Job evaluation review, Annual Pay Review, Global Pay Transparency and Incentive programme changes and improvements. It is intended that there will be four Global Reward Analyst / Advisor roles who will work as a team reporting ultimately up to the Head of Reward Architecture & Base Pay and the Head of Pay Transparency & Incentives. The analysts will work closely with Regional Reward Teams, PEX and HR Business Partners to deliver data-driven insights and operational excellence. Expected Work Compensation Delivery: Support the execution of compensation programmes (end to end) across the globe including benchmarking, pay equity analysis, annual pay review process, job evaluation, incentive programme delivery such as bonus and sales incentives and other global programmes. Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct detailed analysis of reward data, including salary grades, market benchmarks, incentive calculations. Provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement Project and Process Support: Contribute to the simplification and automation of reward processes. Initiate and support the development of tools and templates for consistent application across markets as well as ensuring full documentation is saved in appropriate sites for audit and improvement purposes. Support documentation maintenance and coordination across project squads Stakeholder Management: Work under the guidance of WL2 Global Compensation Reward Managers to support cross-functional initiatives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the wider Reward team, OD&A, PEX, HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure reward solutions are integrated, simple, effective and compliant. Collaboration: Work closely as a team across all the Global Reward Analysts and with the Global Compensation Reward Managers to ensure that where we have peaks in workload we flow to the required work. Work closely with the PEX team to streamline processes and ensure efficient execution. Global Projects: Participate in various global projects as required, contributing to the continuous improvement and innovation of reward fundamentals, processes and practices. Training and Communication: Support the global reward compensation teams with developing training programs to ensure stakeholders are well-informed and fully aligned with any new initiatives or improvements. Communicate effectively across diverse audiences and with all levels of the organization to ensure clarity and understanding of these complex concepts on reward policies and procedures. Resource accountability This role will be required to work within the given resources and work across multi disciplined teams to ensure we deliver the work requirements. Problem Solving This role will work on problems that are both (a) technical in nature requiring excellent analytic skills to investigate and provide solutions and (b) have process implications that require a keen eye for detail and the need to ensure that end to end processes are effective, simple and well thought through. Change Building and refreshing our offering in this space will require considerable innovation. Unilever is likely to want to differentiate itself in these areas, which will require future fit best in industry solutions. Task Horizon Operational delivery is typically up to 12 months. Key Skills Experience & Qualifications Required Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a reward function and process management, with exceptional analytical skills and ability to use excel, Power BI and other tools and a good understanding of global reward policies and practices. Experience with Workday is desirable. Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and simple way. Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with high level proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Workday and data visualisation tools. Proven ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights and display this for diverse audiences. Stakeholder Management: Ability to work with multi stakeholders from cross functional teams. Training Skills: Experience in developing and delivering training programmes to diverse audiences Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a matrixed environment and deliver results within deadlines.
