The Role
Within the Governance and Operations Team of the IT Service, the Governance Officer plays a key role in facilitating and overseeing governance activities. This role ensures robust planning and risk management to support NUIT operations effectively.
Proven expertise in curating and managing service-wide policies, procedures, and standards, along with a proactive approach to risk management, is essential to enabling the IT service to operate efficiently and securely.
About you
We are seeking an IT Governance professional with a broad understanding of IT services and technical environments. To succeed in this role, you should possess:
Experience in the curation and management of governance materials (policies, procedures and standards).
Practical experience of the management and application of governance processes in an IT context, e.g. COBIT, ITIL.
Outstanding influencing and communication skills.
Experience of best practice risk management approaches and methodologies.
