WHAT TO EXPECT

The group leader role is to the first line of supervision to the die maintenance team in the Press Shop toolroom. In this role you will encourage and coach skills and behaviours to maintain a safe and effective working team. You will be accountable for co-ordinating daily activities, managing resource, maintaining a 5S standard in the area, update metrics in respect to the policy deployment objectives and escalating any issues that may arise within the shop.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Proactively assist the Supervisor in all aspects of Health, Safety, and employee Welfare Co-ordinate personnel and assign work Ensure the correct P.P.E is available and adhered to Support Hand arm vibration testing, monitoring, and control of tooling Ensure PPE and consumables cupboards are reviewed and refilled Complete and record all documentation as required manually or on the computer

WHAT YOU NEED

Ability to coordinate and motivate a team. Attention to detail and analytical skills. Experience in Press tooling / die maintenance Knowledge of Quality Operating Systems procedures & deliverables
