WHAT TO EXPECT

Responsible for maintenance within the FA2 trim & final area along with block 48 to ensure production targets are achieved.

The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of the plant’s OPR targets in terms of delivery; facility availability and to project manage key facility improvements as well as developing and managing a team of skilled individuals.

Key Responsibilities and Accountablities

• Manage the “Day to Day” running of 3 shift / 4 shift • Manage in conjunction with other shift supervisors – The planned maintenance schedules and corrective action programme, Insurance defects, remedial actions and improvement plans • Create a strong communication culture between control room, trades, stores, CME and production • Support and Drive the integration of Safety into the maintenance organisation. Risk, COSHH, HAV’s, ECPL, Ergonomics, LEV

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Working knowledge of plant engineering and body construction activities • Indentured apprentice trained (or equivalent) in relative industry subject • Experience of managing teams of skilled personnel to achieve a range of KPI metrics • Supervisory and work planning skills • Application of lean manufacturing techniques and working practices
