Key Considerations for Your Career Path:

• Leadership Experience: This role requires proven experience in a senior kitchen role, ideally as a Head Chef or Sous Chef, with strong leadership and kitchen management skills.
• Culinary Expertise: A solid foundation in culinary arts, demonstrated by an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent chef qualification, is essential.
• Operational Acumen: Proficiency in stock control, ordering, and kitchen systems (mentioning Brakes, Aggora, Drive, Twelve) is crucial. You will be responsible for maintaining due diligence records and supporting audits.
• Health & Safety Compliance: A thorough understanding and commitment to food safety, health & safety, and allergen regulations are paramount. Possession of RIPHH & IOSH certifications, or willingness to obtain them within 4 months, is required.
• Team Development: You will be instrumental in training, supporting, and motivating your kitchen team, including leading briefings and rota planning.
• Client-Facing Engagement: The ability to deliver exceptional client hospitality and support special events is a key aspect of this role.
