Job Description JOB TITLE: Head of FX LOCATIONS: London Salary: Competitive Package HOURS: Full Time About this opportunity Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an outstanding Head of FX to optimise the value from the FX propositions across our Group. You'll be responsible for the FX product within our Markets business as well as leading the pan-LBG FX strategy through collaboration with partners across the Group. This role will report to the Head of Financial Markets within Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM) based in London 33 Old Broad Street. Responsibilities include: Lead all aspects of the FX product within the Financial Markets business ensuring flawless execution to deliver growth objectives Lead a team of highly skilled traders, encouraging a collaborative and inclusive work environment, and embracing innovation. Ensure pricing and risk management in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Build and maintain relationships, both within the organisation and externally, to figure out the best approaches to evolve the FX proposition. Track and analyse market trends finding opportunities and mitigating risks Provide input to the establishment and maintenance of a risk management framework and ensures its implementation within area of responsibility encompassing principles, policies, methodologies, systems, internal controls including adequate and appropriate oversight of trading activities and effective trading controls, processes, procedures and people in line with risk appetite Lead the overall FX strategy within LBG in collaboration with the other divisions to deliver ambitious growth for the Group. Drive coherent Group-wide investment decisions across our FX propositions encompassing market making and client trading, transactional FX for payments, and overseas transactions & international payments. This role is considered Certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime as either requiring mandatory qualifications or being deemed as a role capable of providing ‘significant harm’ to customers. This role has been identified as Manager of certification employees under SYSC 27.8.13R as defined in the FCA Handbook(1) The function of managing or supervising a certification employee, directly or indirectly, is an FCA-specified significant-harm function.(2) A function in (1) is not an FCA certification function for that firm if it is performed by an SMF manager of that firm.
