What the Role Entails:
As the Head of Operations, you will be at the helm of critical plant operations, including Fuel Manufacturing, Uranium Recovery, and Site Services. This is a pivotal leadership position where you will:
- Drive Safety and Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of safe operations while championing strategic initiatives to boost efficiency, productivity, and overall performance across the Springfields site.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on safety, efficiency, and productivity metrics. You'll champion adherence to all regulatory and company policies.
- Continuous Improvement Champion: Foster a robust culture of continuous improvement by leveraging methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Systematic Leadership. You'll be instrumental in identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Operational Management: Oversee financial, production, maintenance, and quality control functions, analyzing reports to ensure business goals are met. This includes strategic planning for manufacturing goals, personnel development, and business objectives.
