About the job As the Head of Planning & Merchandising, you will lead and develop the Planning, Merchandising and Allocation team to deliver optimum assortment and stock placement for achieving sales and profit target as well as for visibility of the brand direction through all touch points. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: Developing Category and product trade plan, overseeing the Product assortment across all channels for the Cluster vs. financial target and recommending action to minimise risks and maximise opportunities Managing OTB through monthly product forecasting reviews to ensure optimum product availability with stock holdings that improve stock turn. Working with Central Supply chain to develop communication and understanding of sales and demand changes on a monthly cycle. Developing Cluster competencies and managing team performance. Managing excess stock sell through in the Outlet channel through price management, by following Central Guidelines for promotional pricing. Collaborating with sales & marketing teams for coordinated approach to plans and communications for maximising sales. Acting as a voice of the Cluster in the projects and meetings with the Central, by cascading clear information from Cluster to Central and vice versa. About you We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following: Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience in a similar role within a matrix organisation and international environment; understanding of luxury sector would be an advantage Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite Previous experience with at least one business intelligence system (e.g. Aptos or similar) Willingness and ability to learn and apply new systems and tools Strong understanding of Merchandising and product Strong leadership skills and previous people management experience Ability to influence different levels of stakeholders, to challenge and question What we offer You can expect a range of benefits, including: Competitive bonus scheme (non-contractual) 33 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays) Company pension 5% Employer contribution Swarovski products discounts Masters of Light Since 1895 Swarovski creates beautiful crystal-based products of impeccable quality and craftsmanship that bring joy and celebrate individuality.
